Turkey has previously issued all the necessary statements concerning its activities in Bashika/Zelika. There is nothing to add to those statements.

Our determination to improve and deepen our cooperation and to consult with Iraq by establishing the necessary mechanisms remains unchanged.

Unfortunately, the Arab League statement shows its failure to grasp the magnitude of the threat posed by DAESH to our region, but primarily to Iraq, and the efforts Turkey has made in good faith against this threat.
